About the Project

Following the success of the solar market stalls in West Bromwich, we have now completed a series of solar market stalls in neighbouring Wednesbury for Sandwell Metropolitan Council. This urban regeneration project used Polysolar’s bespoke design for the stalls which aims to capture the industrial heritage of the region, famed for its iron and steel industries, while at the same time conveying a modern and forward-thinking future. The market stalls are located on the pedestrian area of Market Place and Union Street, Wednesbury Town Centre.

Benefits from our products

Polysolar uses a different technology in our solar panels, enabling us to use them in locations where conventional panels would not be as efficient such as vertical facades and non-optimal orientations. This thin layer technology also means we can adapt them to have different levels of transparency depending on the application.

Not only do the panels generate clean, solar energy, but also significantly reduce thermal gain, providing for a more comfortable environment. They are a laminated glass, therefore increasing their strength and permitting use in overhead applications.

All our products are microgeneration certification scheme (MCS) certified, and we always use MCS approved installers, ensuring all installations are compatible with the Smart Export Guarantee (SEG).

Why Choose Us

  • Over a decade of experience in designing architectural solar solutions
  • Unique transparent solar glass
  • Multiple options for customisation
