Lightweight Solar PV
Polysolar’s lightweight solar pv panels target projects that standard PV panels can't serve. Our panels are glued to the roof using adhesives that have undergone extensive testing. This means the panels can be frameless and require no metal mounting systems.
Examples of applications for lightweight PV:
- Membrane roofs that the client does not want penetrated so as to maintain the waterproofing membrane of the roof.
- Low load-bearing roofs. Many roofs suffer from structural issues that mean they lack the minimum load capacity for conventional solar. From just 3Kg per m2, our ultra lightweight panels offer the solution.
- Facade - simple and lightweight to fit; these panels are the perfect solution for buiding facades.
- Agrovoltaics - the use of solar panels and agricutlture
